This new custom home features 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and can easily accommodate up to 10 guests at a time. Complete with new furnishings and situated within the Sunlight neighborhood west of downtown.
Unobstructed mountain views and wide-open space are yours for the savoring when you book a stay in this welcoming property. Guests who stay in this home away from home are often thrilled by the privacy provided by the property in combination with the mountain-chic style and home-inspired comforts.
Interior Amenities
Walking through the front door, guests of Sunlight Mountain Lodge will love the open living design and bright ambiance made possible by the inclusion of large windows throughout. Floor to ceiling glass panels in the living room are a great pairing to the brown leather sofa and white fabric couch. The entire living room set is settled around a sleek white stone fireplace above which is mounted a large flat-screen television for added entertainment value. The modern white and gray rug adds a cozy touch on top of eye-catching hardwood flooring.
Those that are excited to cook up home-style meals during their stay will be thrilled by access to the large kitchen. This modern culinary space features white granite countertops paired with sleek white cabinetry and a collection of stainless-steel appliances. Industrial chic lighting fixtures hang above the center island which provides additional barstool seating. A walk-in pantry and coffee bar give this kitchen the final touch.
When it’s time to dine, guests can enjoy a meal together at the large dining room table that sits just next to the kitchen or make their way through the nearby sliding glass doors and make the most of patio when the weather is right. The exterior of this property also features a fantastic hot tub, fire pit, and built-in benches for additional seating options. The primary bedroom includes a king mattress and a large bath with double sinks as well as access to a private balcony. A second bedroom on the same floor provides a queen bed option and two twins occupy the third bedroom. The 4th bedroom is a multi-purpose room with a sleeper couch and an oversized bean bag chair to lounge in while watching your favorite movie along with a twin bunk bed complete with a trundle. A full size washer and dryer are tucked behind double doors in the upstairs hall to accommodate all your needs while vacationing for an extended period of time. Sunlight is perfect for families and groups. We realize you will be on vacation but this home is located in a neighborhood with mostly year round residents. Summer time means open windows in Steamboat at night, and sound carries. Loud parties, music or outside gatherings on the decks after quiet hours are not tolerated. Quiet hours are from 10 pm - 7 am year round! Being respectful of the neighbors and the character of this neighborhood is essential and required. If you feel that your group can’t abide by quiet hours, please look at another one of our homes or give us a call or email to discuss. Thank you for your respect and understanding! Due to a change in ownership in August 2023, this home no longer accepts pets.

Each of our vacation rental homes comes with the essentials needed to enjoy your Steamboat Springs vacation; towels, linens, bathroom products, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher soap, tissues, etc. You will be required to electronically sign our vacation home rental agreement to finalize your reservation. Your reservation total includes all applicable state and local taxes, Accidental Damage Protection, and a cleaning fee.
