The Fourth of July in our community is a highly anticipated event. While we love our hotdogs and sparklers, we throw our unique spin on this nationally celebrated holiday. The weekend begins and ends honoring our agricultural and Western heritage in Steamboat Springs — with our Pro Rodeo series that continues all summer long! There’s no bad views at Brent Romick Arena, and this event is fun for the whole family with events like Mutton Bustin’, roping, and of course, Bull Riding!

 

Weekend Schedule

Get plenty of rest at your vacation rental, because Fourth of July weekend in Steamboat Springs is jam-packed. Head from your downtown rental over to Howelsen Hill to witness one of Steamboat’s most renowned events – Jumpin’ and Jammin! See ski jumpers launch themselves from our Olympic Ski Jump at Colorado’s oldest ski resort, an event that is sure to invoke thrill and excitement for the whole family. After Jumpin’ and Jammin’, make your way back to Yampa Street for the Farmer’s Market. Enjoy an array of food and beverage trucks, local pop-up shops, and a gorgeous view of our flowing river. After fueling up at the Farmer’s Market, try renting a tube and floating down our peaceful river or enjoying an Alpenglow hike at Steamboat Resort!

 

The Parade

The arguably most important event of the Fourth of July weekend in Steamboat Springs is our beloved parade down Lincoln Street. Check out Nordic Roller Ski competitions, patriotic locals, and of course – our beloved town camel, Larry! Watch your childrens (and your partner’s) eyes light up as candy rains from the sky around them. Head back over for more Jumpin’ and Jammin’, enjoy a cocktail at one of our many delicious restaurants, and hit the pool at your family friendly Four Seasons Steamboat vacation rental.
